During the high-level meeting, former governors Ahmed Sani Yarima, Mahmuda Aliyu Shinkafi, Abdul'aziz Yari, and Bello Mohammed Matawalle all made clear commitments to the APC and expressed full support for President Tinubu and Governor Lawal's re-election bid.
