A court has heard that a Norwegian teenager travelled to the UK, after being promised €25,000 to carry out a murder.

Johannes Natland was allegedly recruited by a Swedish organised crime group linked to Iran.

He was arrested at a hotel in Huddersfield in March 2025.

He has pleaded guilty to being in possession of two working firearms and 12 rounds of live ammunition, but denies a charge of conspiracy to murder.
