U.S. military forces have struck a vessel in the Eastern Pacific, killing three men the Pentagon says were trafficking drugs.
The announcement said no U.S. personnel were harmed in the action Wednesday.
Several such strikes have been announced in recent days as the Trump administration continues its aggressive actions in international waters.
The U.S. anti-cartel campaign has now killed at least 178 people.
The U.S. Southern Command described the attack as a “lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by a Designated Terrorist Organization” and said it was on a known narco-trafficking route.
