NBA says regular-season viewership up 86% over last season
The NBA reports that 170 million people in the U.S. watched games this season across ABC/ESPN, Amazon Prime Video, NBC/Peacock, and NBA TV. This marks the league's best viewership in 24 years and an 86% increase over last season.
Prime Video joined the broadcast lineup for the first time, and NBC/Peacock returned after a long absence.
The NBA signed an 11-year, $76 billion media rights deal in 2024.
This season saw the highest average viewership in 13 years, with 57 telecasts reaching 2 million viewers.
Social media views also hit a record 228 billion.
