Indonesia is still working to remove rubble and care for the injured after suffering a 7.7-magnitude earthquake on Saturday, marking the eleventh major quake of 2026.
At least 68 people have been killed, and more than 200 have been injured, including Maria Kelen, who gave birth during the quake and the aftershocks.
The mother commended the efforts of emergency responders who helped to successfully deliver her baby two months early, saying they “were miraculous and they fought so hard.”
As recovery efforts continue in Indonesia, people in Colombia are slightly further ahead in earthquake relief efforts and have started to hold funerals for those killed.
