Mathilda Cyr of Greater Sudbury celebrated her 100th birthday Thursday, with MPP France Gélinas on hand to mark the occasion.
Originally from New Brunswick, Cyr moved to Sudbury in 1952 and raised two children in the Valley.
Family says she is an avid cook and seamstress who has made hundreds of quilts.
