The U.K.’s chief rabbi says British Jews are facing a “sustained campaign of violence and intimidation” after an attempted arson at a London synagogue.
The attack on Kenton United Synagogue on Saturday night is the latest in a series of incidents targeting Jewish-linked sites and an Iranian opposition outlet.
London’s Metropolitan Police has increased patrols in northwest London following these attacks.
Several arrests have been made, but no formal links have been established.
Online claims of responsibility have been made by a group with suspected ties to an Iranian proxy.
No injuries have been reported.
