Soccer fans are preparing for the World Cup, and the shirt that launched the sport’s greatest dynasty and made number 10 famous everywhere is heading to auction.
Sotheby’s says that Pelé’s match-worn, number 10 shirt from the 1958 World Cup final will be on sale.
Its estimated value is $6 million, which would make it the most valuable piece of memorabilia ever sold from the only man to have won soccer’s biggest trophy three times.
