Spirit Airlines Nears Bankruptcy Bailout From Trump Administration

As airlines raise flight costs and fees ahead of the summer travel season, the Trump administration is working on a rescue deal to help the struggling Spirit Airlines.
While not finalized, a source familiar with the matter tells NBC News the deal would provide $500 million to help the budget airline emerge from bankruptcy and deal with elevated fuel costs.
