Trump deletes AI image of him as messianic figure - but doubles down on Pope criticism

Donald Trump has deleted an AI-generated image depicting him as a messianic figure, which he shared on Truth Social, but has stood by his criticism of Pope Leo.

The U.S. president accused Pope Leo of being "WEAK on Crime, and terrible for Foreign Policy" and claimed that "if I wasn't in the White House, Leo wouldn't be in the Vatican".

Sky's U.S. correspondent Mark Stone visited the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Virginia to ask worshippers if they support the president - and whether they are offended by his latest posts.
