Famous Packers fan Lil Wayne takes aim at Bears, tells Ben Johnson to ‘put his shirt back on’

Five-time Grammy winner Lil Wayne released a Packers anthem this week called “Special Ops” with disses fired at the other three NFC North teams.

The song was released in conjunction with the team revealing its new Nike rivalry jerseys, which they will wear for their Week 5 home game against the Bears in October.
About halfway through it, he said, “If the coach in Chicago want to act up, we want all of the smoke, no tobacco.” Shortly after he went for Johnson again with, “Tell your coach put his shirt back on, I got Bear fur on my floor at home, We gon’ make you eat all them words, And may they taste like Provolone.”
It then pivoted to stanza about how the Bears “still suck,” the Vikings are “still drunk” and the Lions’ “tails tucked.”
Lil Wayne grew up in New Orleans, but became a Packers fan as a kid when they won the Super Bowl over the Patriots there in 1997.
“I love them,” he explained in a 2023 appearance on NBC. “They won the Super Bowl in New Orleans.
I was hooked.
My dad went to the Super Bowl and came back home with memorabilia, and it was all ‘Green Bay champs.’ So every day I’m using a ‘Green Bay champs’ cup, I’m showering with a Green Bay towel.
I’m a Green Bay fan.”
He ran out of the tunnel with the team before a game at Lambeau Field that season as well, saying he and coach Matt LaFleur are “real, real, real good friends.” The Packers also have embraced Lil Wayne over the years and posted about him on their website and social media channels.
