While videos from the event — ranging from the actor-politician’s speech to his power dressing — quickly went viral, it was Trisha Krishnan who unexpectedly grabbed social media’s attention with her elegant appearance at the ceremony.

Internet users dug up an old photograph of Aishwarya from her meeting with former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in 2000, where the actress wore a similar blue saree with golden embroidery.
