A Republican congressional candidate endorsed by President Trump has won a critical election in Kentucky.
In the most expensive House primary in history, Ed Gallrein has defeated incumbent Thomas Massie, who represented the region for more than a dozen years.
The result indicates that despite his low polling, President Trump remains a kingmaker in the Republican Party.
