Tyler Reddick became the fourth driver to win five of the first nine NASCAR Cup Series races in a season and the first in nearly four decades on Sunday at Kansas Speedway.

He passed Kyle Larson on the final lap of overtime to the delight of car co-owner Michael Jordan, who pumped his fist in celebration.

Chase Briscoe finished third, and Denny Hamlin, who co-owns Reddick's car, finished fourth.

The race was caution-free until Cody Ware's spin in the final laps.

Toyota also became the first manufacturer since Chevrolet in 2007 to win seven of the first nine races.

Larson finished second as his winless streak reached 33 races.
