First US soldiers killed in Jordan, Trump vows to shift action
Two American service members were killed and a third is missing following an Iranian attack on a US base in Jordan.
The deaths are the first from hostile fire since a truce with Iran in early April and come after a week of the heaviest fighting since the conflict began in February.
Saturday also marked the eighth consecutive night of US strikes on Iran, with Iranian media reporting explosions in several coastal cities.
Days of escalating exchanges have targeted military installations and civilian infrastructure across the region.
Morgan Aire reports.
