Late mob boss John Gotti grandson Carmine Agnello has been sentenced to 15 months in prison for pocketing $1.1 million in loans from a federal program meant to help small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Judge Nusrat Choudhury said Agnello must pay the money back and perform 100 hours of community service.
Agnello gained fame as a teen with gel-spiked hair on the mid-2000s reality TV series “Growing Up Gotti.” He will begin his sentence on July 20 and will remain under court supervision for two years after he leaves prison.
Agnello’s sentencing was rescheduled last month after he said he planned to donate a kidney to his mother, Victoria Gotti.
That hasn't happened.
