Sen. Johnson on Pentagon Spending, FISA, Reconciliation
Republican Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, a member of the Senate Budget Committee, criticizes the high cost and inefficiency of U.S. military spending - saying the country is "getting ripped off" - but ultimately backs the administration's $1.5 trillion defense budget request for FY 2027.
He also supports the president's call for a clean extension of FISA, though says he prefers a shorter timeline to allow for reforms.
