Ex-Pussy Riot activist Rita Flores says Russia’s FSB forced her to inform on performance artist Pavel Krisevich. He found out from her interview and wrote to tell her she’s forgiven.

Former Pussy Riot member and activist Rita Flores (real name Margarita Konovalova) said on August 24 that FSB officers recruited her in early 2023.

According to Flores, security officials threatened to kill her family, and under that pressure she agreed to cooperate and gather information on contemporary artists and political activists, including Pussy Riot members.

Among other things, Flores was ordered to draw information out of street artist Philippenzo (Filipp Kozlov) and performance artist Pavel Krisevich and to inform on them.

Flores claimed she tried to hint to Krisevich and his wife, Elena, that a new criminal case was being prepared against him, and that she played an indirect part in his departure from Russia in late 2025.

She was not able to leave the country herself until mid-August 2026.
