U.S. Senate candidate Scott Brown (R-NH) said he was surprised the late Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) didn't "take better care of himself."
"I was a little surprised, quite honestly — 'cause he has a history of that in his family — that he didn't obviously, you know, maybe take better care of himself," he said during a campaign event with veterans in Concord, New Hampshire.
Sen. Lindsey Graham, who died earlier this month from an aortic dissection, had a family history of heart disease.
His father died of a heart attack in his sleep at age 69.
"He'll be missed, and you know, I don't know his sister at all, so we'll see what happens," Mr. Brown said.
