Ofgem announce energy price cap set to rise by 13%

Average annual energy bills will rise by more than £200 a year from July as the effects of the Iran war hit UK households.

Energy regulator Ofgem has announced a 13% rise in the price cap to £1,862 a year for a typical household, up from the previous cap of £1,641.
