After months of delays and political gridlock, the Gordie Howe International Bridge is expected to open to traffic Monday, July 27.
The bridge connects Windsor, Ont., and Detroit, Mich., – the busiest trade corridor between Canada and the U.S.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on the Canadian side on Friday, but the Americans were disinvited after President Donald Trump’s latest tariff threat.
However, Trump is expected to make an appearance on Monday.
Sean O’Shea has more from Windsor.
