Reform UK says it would use Royal Navy to stop small boats

Reform UK has said it wants to launch “the largest military operation in the English Channel since World War Two” to stop small boat arrivals.

A Nigel Farage-led government would send the Royal Navy to intercept migrant boats there and return them to France or Belgium.

Labour criticised what it said was a “reheated” announcement and said, “anger and easy answers won’t bring crossings down”.
