Tata Electronics may start India’s first chip fab with older 90nm technology: Report

Tata Electronics is preparing to begin India’s first large-scale semiconductor wafer manufacturing using a much older 90-nanometre process technology than originally projected, highlighting the challenges of building a domestic chip industry from the ground up, Bloomberg News reported.
