Lebanon and Israel are set to hold the first direct diplomatic talks in decades on Tuesday in Washington following more than a month of war between Israel and the Hezbollah militant.
But while the talks may be historic, the Israeli government has been mostly “ambivalent” towards their outcome, says France 24’s correspondent Noga Tarnopolsky, although there are some signs that has started to shift in the last few days.
