Saudi Arabia, Jordan condemn ‘terrorist attack’ on Syrian security bus near Damascus

Saudi Arabia and Jordan on Saturday condemned a bombing that targeted a bus carrying Syrian security personnel near Damascus and left several people injured, Anadolu reports.

In a statement, the Saudi Foreign Ministry condemned the “terrorist attack” and expressed the kingdom’s “full solidarity” with Syria, backing measures taken by the Syrian government to combat extremism and terrorism.

Jordan’s Foreign Ministry also condemned the bombing as a “terrorist attack,” reaffirming its solidarity with Syria and its people, and rejecting “all forms of violence and terrorism” aimed at undermining the country’s security and stability.

It also reiterated support for Syria’s security, stability, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
