Democratic strategist on Fetterman flip: "It's just talk"

C-SPAN's "Ceasefire" — Democratic strategist Karen Finney and Republican strategist Doug Heye discuss the possibility of Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) flipping to the Republican Party after Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SC) said his conference would welcome him.

"It's just talk," Ms. Finney said. "He's made it clear that he is a Democrat — he sort of said I'm surprised I'm getting asked because I made it clear I'm a Democrat."

Sen. Fetterman, a moderate from a key battleground state, has frequently broken ranks with Democrats since taking office, leading to speculation he could switch parties.
