The UK is set to announce a new testing centre for military drones this week as part of a belated focus on autonomous weapons - provided a major defence investment plan is released.
Sky News understands the Ministry of Defence will establish the facility on a sprawling site in Swindon that was previously a Japanese car-making factory.
With Honda long gone, drone start-ups are flocking to the area in the hope of big business.
