Trump on Iran deal: “We’re not satisfied with it”

C-SPAN C-SPAN — 1min

President Trump said his administration is “not satisfied” with current negotiation talks in the current Iran peace deal during his Wednesday morning cabinet meeting.

“They want very much to make a deal but so far they haven’t gotten there, we’re not satisfied with it,” President Trump said. “But we will be.

Either that or we’ll just have to finish the job.”

The President’s comments come as negotiations between U.S. officials and Iran remain at a standstill, with tensions continuing to rise over Tehran’s nuclear program and regional military activity.

President Trump indicated that while discussions are ongoing, his administration is prepared to take further action if an agreement cannot be reached, emphasizing the White House’s firm stance against Iran obtaining nuclear capabilities.

“I don’t think they have a choice.

They thought they were going to outwit me —People know that, very simple, Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon.”
