Sen. Angela Alsobrooks (D-MD) probed Federal Reserve chair nominee Kevin Warsh on whether he would stand by Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook and Chair Jerome Powell as they face investigation from the Justice Dept., on what she argued were spurious claims of wrongdoing.
Mr. Warsh said it would be inappropriate for him to weigh in on ongoing litigation.
