US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth claimed a decisive victory over Iran, saying Tehran’s missile programme was destroyed hours after the White House struck a ceasefire deal.
Hegseth contended that US-Israeli strikes left Iran’s miliatary “combat ineffective for years to come."
