Pope Leo Calls for Dialogue, Speaks Against Conflicts
Pope Leo XIV continues his visit to the African continent.
In Cameroon, during the second leg of the trip, he called for dialogue and reconciliation between separatists in the the Anglophone regions and the government to achieve lasting peace and development.
Earlier in the week, the pontiff also vowed to keep criticizing the US-Israeli war on Iran.
US Vice President JD Vance pushed back on the Pope’s criticism of the conflict.
