Just one day after announcing retaliatory, dollar-for-dollar import duties on U.S. goods, the Government of Canada has decided to remove counter-tariffs on seafood and fish products from its long list of goods to be impacted.
This after producers in Atlantic Canada expressed concern about what the potential levies could mean for the future of the industry which is already tightly linked to the U.S.
