Origin confirms data leak

Origin Energy said on Thursday that the personal information of some of its customers had been accessed in a cyberattack, including their addresses, phone numbers and bank account details.

The Sydney-based company said it was working to understand how many of its almost 5m customers were affected by the data breach (SBS).
