Voting has opened for Colombia's presidential election.
Left-wing President Gustavo Petro can't run for a second consecutive term, but his often combative relationship with US President Donald Trump appears to be a factor to voters.
The country's future relationship with the US is seen as being on the ballot, as is rising crime.
The frontrunners are a criminal lawyer, a right-wing senator, and the current president’s protégé - each propose sharply different approaches to the job.
Al Jazeera’s Teresa Bo reports from Bogota, Colombia.
