Uncertainty looms over jobs, clean-up costs as N.W.T.'s Ekati diamond mine nears closure

Ekati Diamond Mine had been slated to close in 2029 but is now in receivership after its parent company could not secure a buyer for the site.

Receiver PricewaterhouseCoopers, along with experts, are assessing how many staff will remain on site and how much reclamation will cost.
