Bulgaria and the promised cleanup

After the eighth national elections in five years, Bulgaria finally appears to be getting a stable government, with the Progressive Bulgaria coalition headed by former president Rumen Radev winning a comfortable majority of about 131 seats in the 240-member Parliament in Sunday’s balloting.

International media describe the coalition as center-left, and Radev as pro-Russian.
