LIV Golf email dissected: What message to staff does and does not say

In an attempt to calm ferocious speculation that Saudi Arabia is pulling the plug on LIV Golf, the circuit’s chief executive emailed staff on Wednesday night.

Employees were told in a message from CEO Scott O’Neil that the “season continues exactly as planned, uninterrupted and at full throttle”.
