Liberia: Ex-Pul President Warns Against Media Intimidation
[Liberian Observer] Former Acting President of the Press Union of Liberia (PUL), Gabriel I.H. Williams, has issued a stern warning against what he describes as an emerging pattern of attempts by politicians and their allies to discredit and intimidate journalists through unsubstantiated allegations of bribery, cautioning that such actions threaten Liberia's democratic gains, undermine press freedom, and could damage the country's international reputation.
