US-Venezuela commercial flights restart
The first direct commercial flight in seven years between the United States and Venezuela landed Thursday at Simón Bolívar Airport near Caracas, arriving from Miami.
The service signals a warming in relations between the two countries following recent political developments in Venezuela earlier this year.
Businesspeople and US government officials were on board the flight, which was operated by Envoy Air, a subsidiary of American Airlines.
