A suspect has been arrested in North Carolina after a woman said a man doused her with gasoline and set her on fire.
The Sampson County Sheriff’s Office says the suspect was located in a wooded area Monday.
He was served with warrants on several charges including attempted murder and first-degree arson.
Authorities responded to a structure fire Saturday night in Roseboro and found the woman with burns covering about two-thirds of her body.
She said a man had forced his way into her home before the fire.
The woman was taken to a trauma center, but her condition wasn't known.
