Weijia Jiang, the president of the White House Correspondents' Association, gave a shoutout to C-SPAN on Friday night for its commitment to broadcasting the association's dinner in April during the shooting incident.
"C-SPAN is the crew, as it was that night," she said at the rescheduled dinner. "Photographers and technicians were under the stairs where the shooter was, but they never stopped rolling their cameras and transmitting live footage despite the circumstances.
