Nine people have been killed and more than 30 others were injured after Russia launched another large scale ballistic missile attack on the capital Kyiv - the second major strike in just three days.

The speed of the missiles left people little time to seek shelter - while President Zelenskyy said the lack of Patriot interceptors meant Ukrainian air defence forces were unable to shoot most of them down.
