Waiting for organ transplants, Heat equipment manager keeps working

For nearly a year, Pimental has been on dialysis as he awaits a kidney and pancreas transplant.

Despite his health issues, he continues to work long hours, supported by the team and inspired by his family.

April is National Donate Life Month, a cause close to the Heat, as former player Alonzo Mourning also underwent a kidney transplant.

Pimental remains hopeful, saying his motivation comes from his wife and kids.

The team has rallied around him, offering support and encouragement.
