Internal crises have significantly diminished the standing of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Jigawa State.

The crises have cast them as less credible alternatives in voters' eyes, weakening their collective ability to mount a formidable challenge to the APC’s grip on power.
