Nanaimo is preparing for what could be a banner year for tourism as the first cruise ship arrives April 24, 2026.
During the COVID-19 pandemic the Harbour City completely fell off the international cruise ship schedule.
After a few years of growth, Nanaimo is set to welcome ten ships this season, doubling last year's total.
