In a surprising twist for Mollywood fans, the eagerly awaited 2026 film 'Patriot' has revealed that Suresh Gopi was originally in the running for a cameo traditionally associated with Mohanlal.

Producer Subhash George Manuel disclosed that director Mahesh Narayanan initially envisioned Gopi for this role, heightening the anticipation for a film that already features heavyweights like Mammootty and Mohanlal.
