German news magazine Der Spiegel called it a game like no other.
Spanish newspaper As described it as "a match for the history books," while Britain's The Sun dubbed it the "Game of the Century." Former French defender Bixente Lizarazu praised the first half, which ended 3-2, marking the first Champions League semifinal with five goals before halftime.
