A judge says an Army veteran accused of leaking classified information about an elite commando unit will be released while awaiting a possible trial.
Courtney Williams is charged with four counts of disclosing information from a special military unit at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
She appeared in federal court Monday.
The judge agreed to release her under home detention and location monitoring.
Williams is barred from media contact and social media use.
The indictment alleges she shared details with a journalist between 2022 and 2025.
The FBI says her actions put national security at risk.
