Toronto police say officers from three different divisions were called to do crowd control after hundreds of people showed up to view, climb, and chip away at a massive ice sculpture constructed to tease the release of Drake’s new album.
Drake previously confirmed that the release date for his album ‘Iceman’ is buried within the huge ice block, located near Dundas and Bond streets in Toronto’s downtown core.
On Monday night, fans could be seen using various tools, including a blow torch and a pick axe, to try to chip away at the ice block.
Some could be spotted standing on top of the ice block, which appears to be about six metres high.
