Rubio on containing Ebola outbreak

During President Trump’s Wednesday Cabinet meeting, Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that individuals affected by the recent Ebola outbreak will not be permitted to enter the United States.
 
“We cannot and will not allow any cases of Ebola to enter the United States,” Secretary Rubio said.
 
Rubio’s remarks come amid growing international concern over the recent Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo, as U.S. health and border officials continue monitoring potential risks and coordinating preventative measures to limit domestic exposure.
 
“Americans should feel sure that the President and his administration is doing everything we can to protect them on that front.”
